International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) are organizing a side event on “Leveraging South-South and Triangular Cooperation to support agricultural value-chain development”.
IsDB and IFAD have a proven track record in designing projects and programmes that promote affordable and locally-relevant innovations in the agricultural sector, aimed at empowering smallholder farmers through the improvement of value chains. South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) is a powerful development cooperation modality that can be used to overcome some constraints faced by smallholder agricultural producers in improving value chains.
