Description
About:
The Center for Peace Education and Community Development (Cepeacecode) was established in 1996 in the Nigerian state of Taraba, when an ethno crisis engulfed the state’s Wukari and Sardauna local government areas. The organization was founded by a group of concerned citizens who were trained by USAID/OTI in the area of Peace Management. By using dialogue to build peace and a participatory approach to engage people, we aim to train community leaders to identify early warning signs and mitigate any crisis within their localities.
