Description
Quilmes National University is an Argentine public institution of higher level that was founded in 1989 with headquarters in the Buenos Aires municipality of Quilmes. QNU is a pioneer in Latin America in terms of non-face-to-face education. It is characterized by its focus on the training of professionals in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, with a strong emphasis on university extension and applied research. Its academic offering includes 45 degree courses in face-to-face mode and 34 in virtual mode. It also has postgraduate training through Specializations, Master\\\\\\\’s degrees and Doctorate programs. Among other areas of academic development, it is a regional reference in topics related to the social and solidarity economy and has developed unique social incubation strategies. Built on the ruins of a textile factory, QNU is an inclusive and accessible space for more than 45,000 students and many of them are the first generation of university students in their family.
