UNOSSC Director Meets With CICETE Director General Yan Dong in Beijing

Jorge Chediek, Envoy of the Secretary-General on South-South Cooperation and Director of United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) and Ms. Teresa Liu, Chief of Development Solutions and Technology Exchange (UNOSSC) met with CICETE Director General Yan Dong in Beijing. Both sides reviewed their cooperation in various fields and raised thoughts and suggestions on the next step of cooperation.

Mr. Yan expressed his appreciation, on behalf of CICETE, to UNOSSC for their support to China’s South-South cooperation and mentioned that CICETE will continue to work closely with UNOSSC. Mr. Yan expressed hope that Mr. Jorge Chediek would take participation in the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation as an opportunity to further reinforce friendly cooperation with China.
